Alexa + Gerardo: Island Club, San Diego

I haven't photographed a wedding at the Island Club since their recent renovation. I was happily surprised to see how much nicer it is inside and out. And having an amazing couple such as Alexa and Gerardo made it easy for me to get some great shots of the site. The day was perfect, and the couple's family and friends made the day even better. You could see just how loved they are. What practically brought a tear to my eyes was Alexa's gorgeous wedding dress! The fabric is unlike anything I have ever seen. Oh, and did I mention that the groom's suit was made by his father? Yup, you guessed it! His dad is a tailor and I've never seen a suit fit so well. Now that is really special!
