Ashley and Patrick: Home and Park Engagement Session

It seems that now a days most engaged couples have their engagement photographs taken at the park, the beach or some landmark.  I'm guilty of that!  But when Ashley and Patrick asked if we could do photographs at their condo with their dog, Henry, I was so excited to do something out of the box and have an opportunity to get to know these two on a more personal level.  Plus add in the dog factor, YES PLEASE!!!

But to give them a little more variety, I recommended doing the first part of the session at their home and then heading over to one of my secret spots for some outdoor pics.  Being January, we came up with some ideas and an outdoor picnic seemed like a great one.  Who doesn't like to cozy up with a blanket or some hot cocoa?

I'm excited to be part of their wedding day in November at the Rancho Bernardo Inn.  These two take amazing photographs and I only wish Henry could be there that day.  What an awesome puppy dog!  And hey, if anyone is in the market for a new car, go see Patrick at Witt Lincoln.  Did I mention that his family owns the business?
